Raymond Crowley is an experienced leader in enterprise AI and cybersecurity, currently specializing in the transformative impact of AI on knowledge work. With 15 years at Trend Micro, a listed Japanese cybersecurity firm, he has held diverse roles spanning AI & automation, strategic program management, product management, and business analytics at director level within the company.
His early career included time at Skype in Estonia, where he experienced the disruptive power of tech firsthand, and at Siemens, where he saw the evolution of mobile communications. Beyond technology, he co-founded a contemporary art gallery with his brother, blending their business acumen with creative pursuits.
He has been a speaker at several AI-specific events, including the Tech Industry Alliance TechFest (2023), where he was a panelist on AI: Innovation & Impact. In 2024, he was the keynote speaker at a Cork Chamber Skillnet event on Talent Management in the Evolving World of AI, and he served as a European judge for a global enterprise AI Ideathon with over 1,500 participants in 2023.
An undergraduate of University College Cork (UCC), he completed his MSc at the Irish Management Institute (IMI), focusing on the role of human relationships in the dynamics of technology sales. He maintains a keen interest in economics and 19th-century European history, bringing a cross-disciplinary perspective to AI and the transformation of knowledge-work.
